Nashville psych/grunge duo JEFF the Brotherhood have a new EP of covers, Dig the Classics, due out Sept. 30 via Warner Bros., and we’re finally getting an early taste in the form of a fairly straightforward but appropriately fuzzy cover of the Pixies’ classic “Gouge Away.” The record will also include covers of Beck, My Bloody Valentine, and more, so our interest is thoroughly peaked. While we’re not sure if this EP is the “new album” teased earlier this year, we’re excited all the same, and you can pre-order your copy now on iTunes.
