Mere months after Jeff Tweedy made his pseudo-solo Ryman debut under new moniker, Tweedy, the frontman and the band that made him famous, Wilco, have announced a brief fall run of 20th anniversary dates, which will return them to the Mother Church for a two-night stand: Oct. 21 and 22. The band have also detailed plans for their first ever “Best Of” album, a rarities box set, and a an Oct. 27 performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Tickets for The Ryman shindig go on sale this Friday, Sept. 5, at 10 a.m. CST here and here, with a pre-sale beginning a day sooner (use the password ‘WHOLELOVE’). We’d recommend grabbing ’em fast, because they surely won’t last.
