First Aid Kit Announces Nashville Show!

Here’s a show announcement from our newest contributor Ashley.

Wonder what happens when you mix Swedish Folk with Nashville’s Indie Rock Scene? Wonder no more. Following the release of their 2nd album, Lion’s Roar, First Aid Kit has announced a Nashville stop on their current tour. The band is set to play 3rd & Lindsley on October 5th. The second of two albums by sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg takes Folk to the next level. Lion’s Roar released January 2012 and has already topped charts in both the UK and Sweden, if you haven’t heard it yet, I highly recommend you give it a listen.  You can get started with the title track from that sophomore release below.

Doors open at 9pm. You don’t want to miss the groups sultry sound and bold
lyrics coupled with the personal vibe of 3rd & Lindsley.  You can grab your tickets here.

First aid kit is really a rocking and mesmerizing band. It’s a very pleasured moment to hear their voice. I truly love these people. Their performance touches the heart for sure.
