Every now and then everyone needs to hear the kind of music that just gets your heart rate up and your blood boiling; something that cuts you to the core in terms of intensity. VERIDIA provides that exploding ferocity, and along with My Red & Blue they’ll be performing at The High Watt tonight for just $5. Doors are at 7PM and the heart-pounding show will start at 8PM.
VERIDIA
This is a band that is so fierce and bold that even their name is in-your-face with all capitols. VERIDIA is a four-piece group led by female vocalist Deena Jakoub and brings to mind a zealous combination of Paramore and Evanescence with electronic undertones. Not all of VERIDIA’S material is fist pumping madness; several of their tunes are more dance worthy and encourage you to let go of the typical tough rocker stereotype. Signed to Word/Curb Records/Warner Music Group, the band is now promoting their most recently released EP, Inseparable.
MY RED & BLUE
My Red & Blue is the brainchild of Ben Eggebrecht, a pop/rock artist from Wisconsin who now calls Nashville home. The young artist has quite the resume, including having opened for A Great Big World earlier this year, and now he’s joining the lineup for the VERIDIA show tonight. My Red & Blue is currently promoting his most recent EP, The Start.
VERIDIA and My Red & Blue will perform on June 15 at The High Watt. The show is 18+, begins at at 8PM (doors at 7PM), and tickets are available for $5.
