Mount Carmel, The End, Tonight In Nashville

If you listen to All Songs Considered, you may have heard Robin Hilton say that he thinks Mount Carmel would eat The Black Keys for lunch.  Damn, that’ll get your attention.  These Ohio blues rockers bring you some straight up, in your face, grungy, blues rock.  While I doubt they are going to unseat the reigning kings of Ohio blues rock anytime soon, they are still something that you should get to know.  I couldn’t find any of those cute little embeddable players for you, which probably means that there are out touring more than they are playing with their facebook.  You can check out their old myspace page here.

Once you are finished with that, you should head over to The End’s website to grab a couple of tickets to check them out tonight with  Hellbender and (always fun to say) Tijuana Goat Ride.  Tickets are $8 here ($10 at the door), and things get started at 9pm.  Get out and see some live music.
