The Anal Beatles, The Basement, Tonight In Nashville

In a competition for the most disgusting band name, The Anal Beatles have finally provided some competition to Nashville rockers Diarrhea Planet, and they are playing their first (and possibly only) show as second on the bill at The Basement tonight in Nashville.

No one knows very much about The Anal Beatles.  I did a little searching around, and I found that the veritable Creamsters got the jump on this one from Basement proprietor Mike Grimes after his tweet yesterday.

and, he followed it up with this little press blurb to the Nashville Cream.

You know that if The Basement is going to throw this unknown, possibly one and done, “supergroup” into second billing on a Thursday night that they must be as intrigued as we are to hear what it is all about.  We can’t post any music for a preview on this one, but we can throw up some tracks from each of the bands that are listed here.  Maybe, if you play them all at once, you will get a hint of what is to come (note: playing all of those YouTubers below simultaneously is interestingly awful, I promise you the show tonight will sound better than that) .  I can’t say I’m as excited about this as I was to see the debut show by Diamond Rugs last week, but I am none-the-less very interested to hear some new sounds tonight in Nashville.  Get out and see some live music.
