Sometimes I just need to write down a thought to let the stream of consciousness start to flow, so here you go. Do you ever karate chop the toilet paper? AND…. We’re off!
Today is 11-11-11. Is that some sort of big deal? It seems like it should be. Like all the lotteries in the country hit at the same time, every traffic light is green, and I’m not tired right now despite sleeping less than 5 hours last night. So, with this grand, totally unwarranted, numerical non-coincidence of a day, I would also expect tonight to be full of perfectly spaced sets of great music in various venues around Nashville, and I would conquer this awesomeness traveling in a cheeseburger chariot pulled by comedians and bartenders. Sigh… what happened?
You may, or may not, know about The Black Belles record release party at Third Man Records tonight. I have talked about those Belles from their performances at The Basement and Soundland, and I don’t really see the reason to talk about their set tonight at Third Man. Either you know, have tickets, and you are going… or you don’t have tickets to this very sold out show and you are NOT going.
So, I’m going to tell you about what you should do Tomorrow in Nashville. Actually, I’m not going to tell you what to do, the video below is going to tell you what to do Tomorrow in Nashville.

Ok, so what is this? It’s a horror movie that was filmed in Murfreesboro by Meredith Kotas a couple of years ago, and she is premiering it Saturday November 12th at The 5 Spot in East Nashville. The cover is $5, and all money collected at the door will go to Southern Girls Rock n’ Roll Camp. This is an afternoon party, and things get started with music from Rall Tide and Bird Cloud at 4pm. There is also a Spin Magazine and Rolling Stone reported Nashville fav that is going to make a special guest appearance. Check out the screen shot below to take a guess at who that might be.
The premier of Girls Night Out closes out the night from 7-8pm. Didn’t I just tell you the other day, that I would probably never tell you to go to a movie on this blog again? Weird. It must be 11-11-11. Here’s the trailer for the movie Girls Night Out.
