Even though Bonnaroo is right around the corner, some last minute lineup additions are still being announced. The majority of recent add-ons have included the bands slated to play Bonnaroo’s club stages. The club stages are a great way to discover new music, and to catch some great up and coming bands in more intimate settings. In order to keep spotlighting as many Bonnaroo bands as possible, we’re bringing you the rundown on club stage artists all this week in groups. Give ’em a listen; you might just stumble upon a future headliner in the making!
Bonnaroo Artist | Alanna Royale
Stage & Time | New Music On Tap Lounge | Friday | 10PM
We already gave Alanna Royale the Bonnaroo Band of the Day treatment after they earned a spot on the festival by winning the first Road to Bonnaroo competition. The 7-piece, horn-laden, retro soul group with a modern edge is one of our favorite bands to come out of Nashville recently, and destined for the big stage at ‘Roo someday!

Bonnaroo Artist | Alice and the Glass Lake
Stage & Time | New Music On Tap Lounge | Sunday | 4PM
Alice and the Glass Lake is the performance vehicle of Wisconsin native Alice Lake. Inspired by her annual trips to Glass Lake, the project is the sonic backbone of Lake’s daydreaming, soul searching, and personal growth. Her upcoming EP is a haunting, lush, ambient, and experimental outlet of musical escapism.

Bonnaroo Artist | Andrew Duhon
Stage & Time | New Music On Tap Lounge | Thursday | 4PM
New Orleans native Andrew Duhon is very much a product of his city. The singer-songwriter is heavily influenced by the city’s deep heritage in blues and folk, as well as his love for American history and classic literature. He channels these influences into a calm, modern, bluesy, smart and timeless sound.

Bonnaroo Artist | Bean
Stage & Time | New Music On Tap Lounge | Saturday | 9:20PM
Based in Texas but raised in Nashville, Noelle Bean, who performs simply as Bean, has a lot more depth than meets the eye. Though her style leans largely pop, with glossy production and dance-friendly instrumentation, her soulful delivery, raw vocal talent, and wise beyond her years energy sets her apart from her peers.

Bonnaroo Artist | Capital Cities
Stage & Time | New Music On Tap Lounge | Thursday | 1AM
With all of the buzz and accolades surrounding LA electro dance pop duo Capital Cities, it’s kind of a shock that they’re only performing a club stage. The former jingle writers have shared the stage with the likes of The Killers and Grouplove, and their live show is full of over-the-top energy and infectious, catchy singalongs.

Bonnaroo Artist | Casey Crescenzo (of The Dear Hunter)
Stage & Time | New Music On Tap Lounge | Friday | 9:20PM
Best known as the former frontman for post-hardcore group The Receiving End of Sirens and curent frontman for indie rockers The Dear Hunter, Casey Crescenzo is slated to play Bonnaroo as a solo artist. His solo shows typically include stripped down, more intimate arrangements of popular songs from his main projects.

Bonnaroo Artist | Cat Martino
Stage & Time | New Music On Tap Lounge | Sunday | 2:40PM
Before stepping out as a solo artist, Cat Martino was a member of both Sufjan Stevens and Sharon Van Etten’s bands. Martino definitely borrows from the Sufjan school of experimental, spaced-out indie folk, with a dash of pop, sweeping and eclectic instrumentation, and dense but digestible atmosphere thrown in for good measure.
