Sunflower Bean, The Watson Twins, Josie Dunne, Nordista Freeze, Striking Matches, More Announced for Musicians Corner Fall Lineup

Since returning from a pandemic pause a couple years ago, long-running, free, all ages, bi-annual concert series Musicians Corner has been going strong, resuming its Spring and Fall showcases full of multi-genre local and national talent in Centennial Park.

This year’s Spring series did come with a slightly tweaked schedule, running from mid-May through mid-June rather than every Saturday in both, but still boasted a phenomenal lineup throughout. And though the Fall series will still take place every Friday throughout September (plus a Saturday finale), per usual, we do immediately notice one change: it’s not longer being billed as the “September Sundown” series this year, but, simply as the Fall series of Musicians Corner. It’s no more than a change in name, but one that fittingly reflects how much the Fall edition, which started out as a smaller companion series, has grown to match the Spring installment.

Kicking off Sept. 1, and running each Friday through Sept. 29 from 5 to 9 p.m., plus a special Saturday, Sept. 30 finale and Fall market, this Fall’s Musicians Corner boasts tons of favorites (and plenty of returning performers) like Sunflower Bean, Nordista Freeze, The Watson Twins, Will Hoge, The Wild Feathers, Josie Dunne, Veaux, Ysa, Jessie Baylin, Striking Matches, and many more! Sept. 22 is a special, longer (3 p.m. start) showcase curated by AmericanaFest and New West Records, and the Saturday, Sept. 30 finale, which also hosts local artisans and vendors, will from from noon to 6 p.m.
