Young west coast breakout Arden Jones was raised by a musical family in the San Francisco Bay Area, exposed to rock, jazz, and blues at a young age as he attended concerts and fests and taught himself to play guitar, piano, mandolin and stand-up bass. As a teen, Jones’ taste began to gravitate more towards hip hop, an influence which strongly informed his own sound as he began to experiment with songwriting and recording, honing a style that lands somewhere between alt pop and rap. While briefly attending film school in the midst of the pandemic, Arden began releasing songs on Soundcloud and TikTok, swiftly earning buzz throughout 2021, inking a major label record deal, and further building a following through a series of monthly EPs all last year.

Jones made his Nashville debut last fall at Marathon Music Works in support of Chelsea Cutler, but he’s set to headline Music City for the first time May 20 at Exit/In!
