Back in July, resident local rock and Third Man head honcho Jack White surprise released his sixth solo album, No Name, initially as an unmarked vinyl spread discreetly through his Third Man storefronts in Nashville and Detroit, then later as a more widespread, formal digital release. In support, White has spent the last few months experimenting with a somewhat spontaneous tour structure, playing at intimate clubs around the nation (and a handful of dates overseas, after some summer festival appearances) with very little notice, and generating lots of buzz along the way. Jack treated Nashville to two such shows over the summer- a fundraiser for beloved haunt American Legion Post 82 in July, and a pop up at The Basement East in August, after No Name‘s wider release.
After finishing out the year with some previously announced, upcoming dates in Texas, Mexico, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Australia, and New Zealand, White will embark on a more formal, just-announced run of shows throughout the winter and spring, mostly at slightly larger (but still appreciatively intimate) rooms throughout North America (broken up by a handful of overseas dates in Japan in March), in support of No Name. And good news for those who missed out on his tiny summer dates: Jack is set to return to Music City April 18 & 19, for a pair of headlining shows at The Pinnacle, AEG’s new state-of-the-art, 4,500 capacity venue opening in downtown development Nashville Yards this spring. The Pinnacle already has a lot of exciting shows on the docket, including COIN, Jason Isbell, and Denzel Curry, but Jack White marks the most prominent name yet on the new venue’s slate.
Tickets are set to go on sale Friday, Nov. 22 at 10 a.m. CST here (4/18) and here (4/19), but Third Man Vault members can access a special pre-sale beginning tomorrow, Nov. 15, with fan and Spotify pre-sales set for early next week. Even with the larger capacity, these shows are sure to sell out (White could headline Bridgestone Arena- and has before), so act fast!
