Accomplished both as a pop artist in her own right, and a in-demand collaborator with artists like Quinn XCII, Louis the Child, Noah Kahan, Kygo, The Band CAMINO, and more, from pop to EDM to indie to folk, singer-songwriter Chelsea Cutler has, perhaps, had no collaboration more successful or acclaimed than those with friend and labelmate Jeremy Zucker, who, like Chelsea, is an accomplished solo pop, indie, and electronic artist. and frequently collaborates with other performers like Benee, Tate McRae, Lauv, and Bea Miller. Chelsea and Jeremy first made music together on a collaborative EP, brent, in 2019, adopting a mostly stripped-down, melancholy pop sound and scoring a massive hit in single “you were good to me.” The pair- both New Yorkers, who had met years before working together at a frat party in Connecticut- made magic again in 2021 with brent ii, another emotionally resonant EP which adopted a more sweeping, cinematic style, elevated songwriting, and produced another huge hit in “this is how you fall in love.” A livestream was famously staged to introduce it, resulting in live album brent: live from the internet, but in the several years since their last collab, the talented pair have remained busy with other musical endeavors.
That recently changed though, as, after hinting at more brent news forthcoming, Cutler and Zucker unveiled their latest, brent iii– a full 11-track album this time rather than an EP- due out Nov. 1, and proceeded by folksy new single “black & white.” In support, the pair are hitting the road for their first co-headlining tour, bringing “Brent Forever” to a handful of intimate theaters around the nation, including Nashville’s own Ryman Auditorium on Nov. 17 (where Cutler herself last headlined earlier this year)! Tickets go on sale this Friday, Sept. 20 at 10 a.m. CDT right here, with VIP options available, and various presales beginning Wednesday (use codes ‘brentiii’ and ‘Nashville’).
