[TICKET GIVEAWAY] Jadu Heart w/ Moto Bandit | July 26 @ Exit/In

Formed initially as a multimedia school project of friends Diva-Sachy Jeffrey and Alex Headford while attending London’s BIMM Institute, duo Jadu Heart was initially a conceptual fusion of r&b, pop, hip hop, and electronic music, where the pair performed in masks and wrote music as their theatrical alter egos Dina and Faro. Drawing buzz for a couple of early EPs, the concept continued through 2019 debut full-length, Melt Away, though has been a less prominent fixture of Jadu Heart’s vibe and sound since the following year’s sophomore effort, Hyper Romance. Moving towards a more textured, etherial, ’90s alt rock, indie, electronica, and shoegaze influenced sound across that LP and, especially, on their latest, this year’s Derealised, an ambient, dreamy, psych-tinged album that marks the pair’s strongest work to date.

As part of a small tour which includes just a handful of U.S. shows, Jadu Heart will perform Nashville (as far we can tell, for the first time ever) July 26 at Exit/In, along with perfectly-matched local dreamy, indie pop outfit Moto Bandit!
