While we’re aware that singer-songwriter and actor Dominic Fike‘s rise has been a meteoric one, it’s still wild to see him graduate from headlining the 1,200-cap Brooklyn Bowl Nashville last fall to, for his upcoming Don’t Stare at the Sun Tour, Municipal Auditorium on July 26, which at 9,700 seats, is more than eight times larger.
Notably sparking a major label bidding war simply on the strength of his early SoundCloud demos, and while serving a brief stint in jail, Fike’s 2018 debut EP, Don’t Forget About Me, Demos, initially put him on the map, notching viral hits and leading to collabs with artists like Brockhampton and Halsey. 2020 debut album What Could Possibly Go Wrong further cemented the hip hop-infused pop rock singer’s status as a star in the making, and his foray into acting, joining the cast of hit HBO drama Euphoria last year for its second season, helped introduce Fike to an even wider audience.
Now, with his sophomore album, Sunburn, set to arrive in July, Fike is buzzier than ever, and his impressive summer tour run further asserts his star power. Snag tickets to Dominic’s Nashville return right here!
