[TICKET GIVEAWAY] Baby Rose & Q | June 3 @ Exit/In

Two rising stars of the r&b scene, both celebrating great new albums, Baby Rose and Q are currently in the midst of a co-headlining tour dubbed Through the Soul, which brings them to Nashville’s own Exit/In on June 3!

DC born, North Carolina raised, and now Atlanta based, Baby Rose got her start writing and recording music as an adolescent, and released her debut mixtape, From Dusk ‘Til Dawn, in 2017 to considerable buzz. She’s toured with Ari Lennox, earned fans in the likes of SZA and J. Cole, appeared on soundtracks for Insecure and Creed III, and teamed up with artists like Big K.R.I.T. After making a name for herself with excellent 2019 debut LP To Myself, Rose recently returned with sophomore effort Through and Through, once again showcasing her incredible vocals and ambitious artistic sensibilities.

A well-suited match for, and occasional collaborator with Baby Rose, Q Marsden, who goes monogamously by Q, hails from Florida, and got his formal start not long after his tour-mate. Raised singing in the church choir, while also visiting his Jamaican-born music producer father Steven Marsden at his recording studio, eventually honing his own sound and self-producing his debut record, Forest Green, in 2019. A “director’s cut” of record The Shave Experiment would follow in 2021, expanding his soulful r&b sound and penchant for ’80s aesthetic, but recent LP Soul,PRESENT is technically Q’s formal debut full-length, and the beat showcase of his artistry yet!
