It’s been a decade since German singer, songwriter, DJ, and producer Marius Lauber, who’d spent his teens performing in indie and garage rock bands, first debuted his solo, indie electronic project Roosevelt. Combining his more rock rooted past with a love of disco, techno, electronic, and dance music, Roosevelt has honed his genre-bending and synth-soaked sound and become a seminal fixture in the modern disco revival scene, amassing acclaim across a series of EPs, remixes for the likes of Charlottes Gainsbourg, Glass Animals, and CHVRCHES, and three great full-lengths, most recently last year’s Polydans.
Hot off a buzzworthy recent collab with the legendary Nile Rodgers, Roosevelt is currently in the midst of a world tour, and will bring his immersive, dance-primed live show to Eastside Bowl on June 21, along with LA-based dreampop kindred spirit Caroline Loveglow! You can still get tickets to the show right here, but we’re excited to announce that we’re also giving away a pair of tickets to a two lucky winners!
