Beloved, off kilter, Brooklyn alt rock duo They Might Be Giants have been a musical institution since their formation 35 years ago, hailed for their experimental style and unconventional musical sensibilities. Though recent years have seen the band branch out to also craft kid’s music, and they might be best known by some for their contributions to television themes like Malcolm in the Middle and The Daily Show, TMBG have never stopped releasing fresh and ambitious new work at a prolific pace, and continue to command a cult following and critical praise. The group’s 20th album, I Like Fun, was recently announced to to arrive Jan. 19, and with it TMBG unveiled fun and quirky new single “I Left My Body.” In support, the band will embark on a massive 2018 tour, which includes a Feb. 6 stop at Cannery Ballroom, nearly five years after they last played the same room. Tickets are available now right here, so reserve your spot then check out the enduring band’s latest below!
