Emotionally-charged local alt rock outfit Daisyhead only released their sophomore LP, In Case You Missed It, back in April, but the band are already readying some new tunes, a two-song EP called Purple & Blue, set to drop Sept. 15. Last week, the group unveiled one of the new tracks, “Cute Little Finger,” which marks the first time the current lineup have all collaborated on new music, and chronicles the devastation yet oblivious potential of bad timing.
One of our favorite local acts, expert in their ability to tap into raw, visceral emotion, Daisyhead are set to celebrate their latest release with a hometown house show at That 70’s House on Sept. 17, kicking off a tour with Texas group Nominee, and featuring some stacked local support from Mountains Like Wax, Pale Lungs, and Early Humans. Head here for more info, and check out “Cute Little Finger” below!
