Yes, we finally made it Labor Day Weekend! If you’re itching to hear some great music during the last few moments of summer, head over to the inaugural Church Street Block Party for an unique and eclectic mix of artists and performers. This Sunday, Sept. 3 starting at 4 p.m., those in attendance can hear the sweet sounds of multi-instrumentalist Kishi Bashi, pop rapper Brooke Candy, hip hop activist Mykki Blanco, buzzy indie rockers Porches, rising pop star Mary Lambert, and Glee star Alex Newell. And naturally, there’s plenty of local talent to enjoy, too. Make sure to check out buzzy singer-songwriter morgxn, badass pop queen Daniella Mason, and DJ Jane Dupree. Outside of the great musical performances, you can also enjoy some fire dancing from Magnificent Light Entertainment, circus performances from Suspended Gravity, and multi-talented entertainer Dylan Radford. All of the fun festivities will be hosted by Bob the Drag Queen from RuPaul’s Drag Race.
The party is open to all ages and will be located on Church Street between 15th & 16th Ave. Right now, you can snag $25 general admission tickets, $30 for those under 21, and $95 for a VIP experience. Ready to party? Snag your tickets here and check out music from the full lineup after the jump.
