A newcomer in the Nashville music scene, the inaugural Church Street Block Party was just announced for Labor Day Weekend. On Sunday, Sept. 3, the one-day, music-centric block party will feature an impressive, eclectic, and diverse lineup featuring the talented multi-instrumentalist Kishi Bashi, pop rapper Brooke Candy, hip hop activist Mykki Blanco, buzzy indie rockers Porches, rising pop star Mary Lambert, and Glee star Alex Newell. The bill also features rising locals including singer-songwriter morgxn, powerhouse popster Daniella Mason, and DJ Jane Dupree. Music aside, the fest will also feature a slew of performers from Magnificent Light Entertainment, Suspended Gravity, and Dylan Radford, and the will be hosted by Bob the Drag Queen from RuPaul’s Drag Race.
The all ages event, which will be located on Church Street between 15th & 16th Ave, is designed to celebrate the diversity, and all are welcome. Tickets options are available from $25 for general admission, $30 for those under 21, and $95 for a VIP experience.
