On the heels of her sophomore LP, The Valley, Australian born, New York based rising pop starlet Betty Who has expanded her “Party in The Valley” tour with a second leg of shows that returns her to Nashville for the first time in more than two years, Aug. 25 at Exit/In. After erupting onto the scene thanks to early single “Somebody Loves You” and a pair of EPs, Who, real name Jessica Newham, made a splash in the pop and dance world with debut LP Take Me When You Go in 2014. Having since appeared on the road with big names like Katy Perry, and at high-profile fests like Bonnaroo, Betty has managed to find buzz and chart success across the globe, and a pair of recent singles, “Mama Say” and a cover of Donna Lewis classic “I Love You Always Forever,” already seem to be all but ensuring that The Valley will continue the talented young singer’s upward trajectory.
