The Weeks-2017-620

Local and longtime site faves The Weeks are starting off 2017 with a bang. After a lengthy and anticipated wait, which included the release of a new EP and rarities collection, the southern garage rock group have announced the long awaited follow up to their breakout 2013 LP Dear Bo Jackson. Called Easy, the album will arrive April 7 via Lightning Rod Records, and, in support, the band have announced a spring run of dates, which includes their first local show of 2017 April 22 at Cannery Ballroom. Tickets are available here now.

The Weeks began teasing singles at the end of 2016, but started the new year off showing they have a few other tricks up their sleeves. The talented founding brothers of the Cyle and Cain Barnes teamed up to create the artwork for the new record, and Cain even flexed his video skills by directing and filming the band’s latest video for “Talk Like That,” their brand new single. Dig into their tour schedule and the new spot below!
