Currently in the midst of a reunion tour in support of their brand new comeback album, To Be Everywhere Is to Be Nowhere, post-hardcore trailblazers Thrice have just added a fall slate of shows to their calendar, including the group’s first Nashville stop in eight years, Sept. 27 at Cannery Ballroom with La Dispute and nothing, nowhere. Last year, after a three-year hiatus, the band sprung back to life, but opted mostly just to play festival dates, making this run of performances their first proper club tour in a number of years. Embraced early on for their experimental, heavy but melodic brand of post-hardcore, and considered one of the most influential acts of the early ’00s scene, the group have expanded to incorporate more art rock, alternative, and electronic influences in recent years, and with their latest LP, they find a balance between old and new, producing one of the most focused and fresh efforts in years. Pre-sale tickets for the upcoming show are available here right now, and the general on-sale will begin Friday, June 17 at 11 a.m. CDT right here.
