Birmingham, Alabama based soul act St. Paul and the Broken Bones sprung onto the national radar a few years back with their explosive debut, Half the City, and the buzz surrounding their phenomenal, energetic live show. Since then, the group, led by gifted frontman Paul Janeway, have been something of road dogs, touring the world and making countless festival and television appearances, all the while watching their presence rise. Ahead of their highly-anticipated sophomore LP, Sea of Noise, which will arrive Sept. 9, the buzzworthy band have announced a lengthy fall tour, which returns to them to Nashville Sept. 9, the same day the album drops, for a performance at The Basement East! While St. Paul are certainly no strangers to Music City, this marks their first outing on the east side, and tickets are likely to go fast! Grab ’em when they go on sale Friday, June 17 at 11 a.m. CDT right here.
UPDATE 8/29/16: Unsurprisingly, St. Paul’s Sept. 9 show sold out almost immediately, but the group have graciously just announced a second show, set for one night prior, Sept. 8. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, Aug. 31 at 10 a.m. CDT right here, and will surely sell out once more. If you missed out first time around, fire up those keyboard fingers and try your luck again.
