Tonight, March 9’s edition of the weekly Music City Roots showcase at The Factory at Franklin features the theme of “Wonder Woman,” and appropriately showcases the music of several incredibly badass females. Concertgoers will enjoy the soulful twang of Canadian country singer Lindi Ortega, as well as the the energetic and fabulously funky sounds of local artist Alanna Royale. Folk duo Kacy and Clayton and singer-songwriter Rebecca Rubion will also make their debuts during this week’s show, so make sure you get there early.
If you don’t feel like braving the rage-enducing traffic from Nashville to Franklin, you can hop on a bus stocked with refreshments for just $10 (which includes a ticket into the show). East Nashvillians can hitch a ride at the 5 Spot at 5:30 p.m. or you can head out of Midtown’s Soulshine Pizza at 6 p.m. Things get started at 7 p.m., and tickets are available right here!
