Speedy Ortiz and Hop Along to Play Exit/In May 17

Two of our favorite up and coming acts, Boston indie rockers Speedy Ortiz and Philadelphia folk-tinged indie punks Hop Along have announced a co-headlining tour, which brings them back to Nashville on May 17 for a performance at Exit/In. Celebrating the release of last year’s fantastic third full-length, Foil Deer, Speedy Ortiz return after a headlining show at The End late last year. Hop Along, who also released a buzz-worthy third effort, Painted Shut, in 2015, have made their way to Music City numerous times in recent years, supporting Modest Mouse for two nights at War Memorial Auditorium at their latest outing. Given the increased (and well-deserved) presence and praise for both acts, we’d expect tickets to go fast; be sure to grab ’em when they go on sale Friday, March 4 at 10 a.m. CST right here.
