After breaking nearly every conceivable sales record with her new album 25, English soul singer Adele has finally announced the massive North American tour we’ve been eagerly awaiting for years. Set to kick off in the summer of 2016, the run will encompass a whopping fifty-six shows, at least two and as many as six in every major market, and includes a two-night run at Nashville’s Bridgstone Arena on Oct. 15 and 16, quite an upgrade from the singer’s last local outing: a Cannery Ballroom show in ’09. It should be noted that the tour has a lot of space to add additional nights most everywhere, Nashville included, but we don’t know for sure if this will be the case, so you’d better be safe than sorry, and grab tickets beginning Thursday, Dec. 17 at 10 a.m. here (10/15) and here (10/16). If these shows sell even remotely as quick as her album has, seats won’t last.
