While St. Patrick’s Day might not technically be until March 17, we have a feeling you’ll want to get into the spirit a little early, when quintessential Boston celtic punks Dropkick Murphys return to town March 2 for a performance at Marathon Music Works with Tiger Army and Darkbuster in celebration of their 20th anniversary. Practically synonymous with St. Paddy’s at this point, no one blends hellacious, ’90s punk with traditional Irish folk music quite so well.
