Metalheads rejoice: one of the best heavy acts of today, Richmond’s Lamb of God, are teaming up with ’80s thrash metal pioneers Anthrax for a winter tour, which hits Marathon Music Works on Jan. 20! The fact that LoG, who rose to prominence in the early ’00s, are top billing above one of the big four, really speaks to their popularity within the metal scene, but Anthrax, who haven’t played Nashville in a decade, are likely to be just as huge a pull. Rounding out the bill, and adding even more diversity to the lineup, are Deafheaven, known for their artsy, shoegaze, crossover appeal, and up and comers Power Trip. We don’t have to tell you how kickass a group of bands this it, so toss up your devil horns and grab your tickets here beginning Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 10 a.m. CST.
