Progressive/experimental act The Dear Hunter began a decade ago, then a side project/high-concept musical vehicle for The Receiving End of Sirens vocalist Casey Crescenzo. What has since morphed into Crescenzo’s main gig, the group released three concept albums of a planned six-part series between 2006 and 2009, before venturing off to craft a color-inspired series of EPs and a standalone album. Returning to their highly-anticipated concept series, The Dear Hunter are prepping to release Act IV: Rebirth in Reprise Sept. 4 via Cave & Canary Goods / Equal Vision Records, and will hit the road this fall in support, stopping Oct. 9 at Exit/In with CHON and Gates. Grab your tickets when they go on sale this Friday, June 19 at 10 a.m. CDT, and listen to an epic new track, “A Night on the Town,” below!
