Eclectic Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Kevin Devine was set to play Nashville earlier this year with Into It. Over It. (who made it back last weekend with Minus the Bear), but, unfortunately the show was canceled due to weather (remember that insane ice storm?). Making good on his promise to reschedule, Devine has announced a July 24 return to The High Watt, where he last played in the fall of 2013 (he’s passed through as an opening act, and with other projects like Bad Books, in the time since). He also seems to be playing The Ryman this fall with Brand New, though is not yet listed on the venue’s official calendar (we’ll keep you posted when we clear that up).
Grab your tickets here, and check out “Geißen,” Devine’s first new original tune since releasing two full-lengths in 2013, which comes from volume two of his Devinyl split 7″ series, below!
