Part-time Nashville resident Butch Walker has been having an incredible 2015. His latest album, the Ryan Adams-produced Afraid of Ghosts (out last month via Dangerbird) has been generating more buzz than any of the eclectic singer’s solo work to date- and for good reason, it’s incredible. After many years of writing and producing for some of the top artists in pop and rock, Butch seems to be rising to mainstream fame of his own, and, following a successful run of dates supporting Adams, Walker is ready to hit the road for a headlining tour. He’ll hit Nashville May 17 for a performance at War Memorial Auditorium (quite the upgrade from Mercy Lounge, where he last played- though it sold out in a flash) with Jonathan Tyler.
Grab your tickets when they go on sale Friday, March 20 (seriously, this one is a likely sell-out), and watch a newly-released behind the scenes video on the making of Afraid of Ghosts, featuring Ryan Adams and album guests Johnny Depp and Bob Mould, below.
