When you’re the headliner for a show, that’s a pretty big deal; but when you’re the only one on the bill for the night, that’s a really big deal. Nora Jane Struthers & The Party Line are the only ones up to play tonight at The High Watt, but they’re guaranteed to make the show worth every single penny. Having just released their latest album Wake only yesterday, this group is eager to showcase some of the latest songs they’ve worked so hard on.
NORA JANE STRUTHERS & THE PARTY LINE
31-year-old Virginian-born Nora Jane Struthers most definitely looks younger than her age, but her music is so mature that you would think she’s lived for centuries. Each new experience of hers is put into song form and made relatable for all of her devoted fans and new listeners. Her most recent conquest? Love. This album dives into the slow climb and then sudden pitfall of falling in love, and Nora Jane Struthers happily welcomes fans to join her in her current happiness. In order to bring life to the Americana artist’s songs, Nora Jane Struthers recruited The Party Line, a group of four incredibly talented musicians that have brilliantly blurred the lines between rock and roll and Americana. Tonight‘s show will be the kickoff for a nation-wide tour, and as this is the only show slated for Tennessee this will be your only opportunity to check out these rising stars before they hit the road.
Nora Jane Struthers & The Party Line will perform on February 25th at The High Watt. The show is 18+, begins at 8PM (doors at 7PM), and tickets are available for $10.
