Though he’s already a well-known and buzzed about name in pop, local singer-songwriter/producer turned Rihanna cohort and Grammy performer Mikky Ekko, astonishingly, is just now getting around to releasing his debut album. That album, titled Time, drops tomorrow in fact, and, ahead of its release, Mikky has premiered a new single called “U.” If this track (and “Time,” “Smile,” and other singles before it) is any indication, Ekko is about to have his biggest year ever, and we’re excited to claim him for Nashville while we witness his ascent.
