We’ve all come to expect the legendary Ryman Auditorium to host some of the best acts in Nashville, but tonight’s performance will prove to be particularly charming. One of Australia’s most popular and talented musicians, John Butler, will be making a stop at the iconic venue tonight, November 13th, for what appears to be an incredible performance. Although there isn’t an opener slated for the evening, the John Butler Trio is scheduled to take the stage at 7:30pm, which is quite early. To us, this indicates the possibility of a double set, perhaps one electric and the other acoustic. Tickets are still available; you can score them for $43 via this link.
If that ticket price seems a bit hefty, we can assure you it will absolutely be worth the cost. John Butler is without a hint of a doubt one of the most talented guitarists in our time, and enjoys a reputation as a virtuoso in both his home country and abroad. Butler’s style is incredibly dynamic and will see the artist playing at a variety of speeds and volumes. Earlier this year, Butler and company dropped Flesh and Blood, the trio’s first studio album in four years, so be expecting both their classic hits and cuts from the new album. Tonight’s performance will definitely be one of the most impressive the Ryman sees this year, and you owe it to yourself to check out this artist. After the jump, we’ve got a track from one of Butler’s previous performances, to give you just a taste of what’s to come tonight. Even if you’re not planning on going, still give this track a listen, as it’s an astonishing display of his musical ability. Hope to see everyone there!
