While most Jack White news late last week revolved around the rocker’s “Kanye-esque” rant in Boston, where, after a guitar malfunction, he took shots at Rolling Stone, The Foo Fighters, and mainstream pop, our attention was turned to something a little less tabloid-y and a little more substantive: an hour long, exhaustive interview with Dan Rather for AXS TV’s “The Big Interview.” In it, White discusses his past with The White Stripes, writing process, religion, technology, departure from Detroit, favorite songs, and much more.
