Earlier this week, we announced that Justin Townes Earle was allowing his latest album, Single Mothers, to be heard before its Sept. 9 release date via online stream. Now, he’s giving you even more opportunities to get your hands on a copy of the album before it goes on the shelves. Today at Grimey’s, the Nashvillian is putting on a live in-store performance well as allowing fans to possibly get their hands on a hard copy of Single Mothers. Grimey’s is one of the first stops for Justin Townes Earle on his fall tour, which will take him all over the United States from Washington to New York, so now is your chance to see him before he takes off.
JUSTIN TOWNES EARLE
A lot has happened for Justin Townes Earle in the last few years: he had a falling out with his label Communion and has since joined Vagrant Records (which Single Mothers will be released on). The singer will be playing a headlining show with Cory Branan at the Ryman Auditorium in November, and, on a more personal level, he tied the knot last year. In all of this time, he has managed to create his fifth work of art. and will be returning to good ol’ Grimey’s to show it off before it goes up for sale.
Justin Townes Earle will perform today, Sept. 4, at Grimey’s. The show is all ages, begins at 6PM, and it is free to attend.
