Chelsea Lankes Debuts New Single, Music Video, “Secret”

Our obsession with former Nashville resident Chelsea Lankes is no secret (heh, see what we did there?). The synth pop songstress hypnotized us last fall with the release of her haunting debut-ish (she had a prior album, but seems to be rebooting her career with a different musical direction) track “Ghost,” and, now, Chelsea’s back with an upbeat followup, “Secret.” The track itself has spent the last couple of weeks blowing up the blogosphore, and, hot on the heels of its release, Lankes has dropped a new music video. Filmed at a mansion in Nashville (though Lankes now officially calls Los Angeles home), “Secret” is a sexy, alluring, and polished effort, which reinforces what we’ve been screaming for nearly a year: Chelsea Lankes is destined to be one of the biggest new names in indie pop, and you’d better just go ahead and get on board.
