Local electro rock duo Cherub not only made their national television debut last night on Conan, but also played “<3,” the latest single from their new album, Year of the Caprese, live for the first time ever, according to the group’s Twitter account. Now a major label act, it should come as no surprise that Cherub have graduated to the big leagues of late night television; however, in this particular instance, they appear to have nabbed the spot the good old-fashioned way, through hard work and talent. Check out this recent video of O’Brien’s music booker, Jim Pitt, praising the group’s Bonnaroo performance last week (shortly after which they were booked for Conan), and head here for our Bonnaroo coverage, where we gave the local fellas some similar praise (and managed to snap a few action shots).
