Bowling Green’s Buffalo Rodeo have been on our radar for awhile now, and we’ve been really excited to see them grow in recognition in recent months, seemingly becoming the go-to act for rounding out local bills. An indie rock band through and through, Buffalo Rodeo also pull influence from prog-rock and alternative, with a flair for ambience. Their self-released catalogue dates all the way back to 2011 (if not earlier), but it’s their latest EP, Home Videos, that really caught our attention in a major way. Supported by lead single “Treehouse,” Home Videos is a fun, energetic, indie romp of a record, and provides a perfect glimpse into the unstoppable force of a band Buffalo Rodeo are well on their way to becoming.

Since we’ve already been spinning “Treehouse” for months, we’re especially excited that the band chose this track for their latest music video. The Daniel Peach-directed vid is a funny and delightfully trippy, and you can check it out after the jump!

And, for your latest Buffalo Rodeo live fix, catch them this Saturday, Feb. 15, at The Basement with a few of our other local faves: Tesla Rossa and Gunther Doug! The show will run you just $5, kicks off at 9 p.m., and, per usual, is 18+.
