“Thursday Night Things,” a new “curated series of unexpected collaborations by Nashville based artists,” which has been confusingly abbreviated “TNT,” will kick off Feb. 20 [UPDATE: moved to Friday, Feb. 21 due to inclement weather, all other details remain the same]at impressive new special arts and events center, Oz, and will feature local rapper Chancellor Warhol and visual performance artist Benton-C Bainbridge. The one-time-only event will cost just $5, and doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
Dubbed “Illuminate Paris,” the performance will center around Warhol’s newly-released (and downright amazing) new album, Paris Is Burning, and will feature visuals from Bainbridge, who, notably, has worked with the Beastie Boys and TV on the Radio, among others, to create an immersive concert experience. This sounds like a truly unique, compelling experience; and, for the price? You’d be crazy to miss it.
