Strap on your ‘Boots of Danger’ Nashville because Tokyo Police Club, the indie rock, post-punk revivalists quartet from Ontario Canada, is stomping into town to support a their latest LP Forcefield which drops 03/25/14. They’ll be rocking out at Mercy Lounge on May 9th and tickets go on sale Friday (01/24/14) at this link right here!
Also, if you’re a hands on type of admirer, check out their web site here to help them design a lyric video for their latest single “Hot Tonight”. The band has asked fans to pick a line (lyrics are listed) and make a cool video clip with the words. Something cool/creative/weird and post it on FB, Twitter, or Instagram with the hashtag #TPCHotTonight. The best of the best will be compiled into a new video but only if they’re submitted by Jan 29th, so get to work!
In the meantime, if you can’t wait for tickets to go on sale at the end of the week or if you’ve spent the last bit of your hard earned money on hot chicken and adult beverage, be sure to sign up for a chance to win FREE tickets after the jump and also check out the video for “Wait Up (Boots of Danger)”.
