Against Me! to Play Mercy Lounge Jan. 19

Punk rock outfit Against Me! recently announced that their long-in-the-works and much-anticipated new album, Transgender Dysphoria Blues, would finally arrive this January and, now, they’ve unveiled tour plans in support. Following a tumultuous year, which saw the departure of two longtime members, tour cancellations (including one with Bad Religion, which would have brought them to Nashville), and record delays, Against Me! have recently welcomed drummer Atom Willard (The Offspring, Angels & Airwaves) and bassist Inge Johansson (The (International) Noise Conspiracy, Refused) into the fold. Poised to self-release their latest effort after a major label stint (their first full-length since frontwoman Laura Jane Grace came out as transgender), and seemingly more focused and energized than ever, there has never been a more exciting time to catch this dynamic act.

Against Me! will appear Sunday, Jan. 19 at Mercy Lounge, and will be supported by The Sidekicks and The Shondes. Tickets go on sale this Friday, Dec. 6, right here.
