Brendan Benson Announces New Album, ‘You Were Right’ | Available Dec. 10

We were so excited to announce Nashville rocker Brendan Benson‘s upcoming Dec. 18 benefit show at The Ryman (featuring friends Jack White, Butch Walker, and MANY, MANY MORE) earlier this week, that we totally overlooked one other important piece of BB news: the singer’s new solo album, You Were Right, has been announced for a Dec. 10 release, just a week before the show. The record follows a string of singles (several of which are set to appear on the album), comes via Readymade Records (Benson’s own label) and Dine Alone Records, and was recorded in Nashville at Brendan’s Readymade Studios. Pre-orders will begin Oct. 22 for the CD and digital editions of the release and, get this: You Were Right will first arrive on vinyl, on Nov. 29 (for Black Friday, which serves as a mini-Record Store Day for many special vinyl releases).
