It’s that time of year again. It’s the time of year when everyone is politicking for your vote for Best of Nashville. I guess it is for good reason too. It’s an honor to be recognized by your peers (we were truly honored by you guys voting for us in last year’s contest), but, it is a much bigger deal for brick and mortar businesses to receive these accolades. Their livelihood depends on people knowing about and trusting them. It’s no wonder that sign shops go into high production mode making banners for the local winners to advertise the honor, and it’s the reason that you should take some time to enter in the contest.
Here are the rules. Go to the Nashville Scene’s Survey Page. Log in either with your Facebook ID or by creating an account. Start entering your votes. Note: There are multiple pages of categories for the 242 entries (For instance, you could enter No Country For New Nashville as best music blog and/or best local blog on Page 4). Important: You must provide at least 20 entries for a valid submission.
So, we want to give a shout out to some of our staff’s personal faves this year. After the jump, we’ve provided 20 picks from some of our primary contributors. There were some tough choices, but that’s what makes these polls fun.
