Were you lucky enough to be in the packed Cannery Ballroom on Monday night for British sensations Alt-J? We were there and I can’t say much about their live show. Maybe they were as freaking tired as I was in that hot, packed room, but their live show didn’t relate to me the same way as their standout record An Awesome Wave. Regardless, Gus & Joe got together with our boys over at Lightning 100 for a brief chat as well as dropping some stripped down versions of “Tessellate“, “Fitzpleasure”, “Matilda”, and “Breezeblocks”. The bad ass web dude over at Lightning was even cool enough to mark the track grooves in the embed for you. Enjoy!
