Lightning 100 had a change in their mission statement last year with a committment to focus more on local music, and we, obviously, support that mission 100%.  One of the programs that came from that promise is The 615 which is a weekly, hour-long rundown with afternoon hosts Wells and Hammel to spotlight Nashville’s local independent music scene.  This week local musician and co-promoter of our upcoming SXSW Send Off Show, Jacob Jones, is joining the program to play a little bit of his music and run through a bit of music from all the performers that are playing for free on Saturday night at Mercy Lounge and The High Watt.

If you don’t know about the completely free show this weekend, then you should head to our page summarizing everything, or you can check in at the Facebook page for the event.  Regardless, you definitely should tune the dial to Lightning 100 tonight at 6pm, or you can listen through your computer here.  Support your local music scene.
