I’ve been a fan of Dinosaur Jr. long enough in my life to recognize a very unique situation. Despite numerous ups and downs with the band members, Dinosaur Jr. has been putting out solid rock music for almost 30 years now. While it may not all be groundbreaking, it is all seriously quality music. I’ve spent quite a bit of time with the newest Dino Jr. record I Bet On Sky, and I spent the better part of Sunday listening to it along with their highest rated tracks on Spotify. The new record isn’t just a good record from some old school rockers, I Bet On Sky is a great record that really channels the best of what Dinosaur Jr. represents.
