Nashville band Milktooth has started a pretty innovative idea of simply covering tracks that they like. The first two in the series are Beach House’s “Wild” from their new record Bloom and the other is a cover of Kavinsky’s “Nightcall” from the Drive Movie Soundtrack. Both are sonically and visually appealing, and well worth your time. Milktooth hopes to put up a new cover every month, and we’ll keep our eyes out for you. They also have a new album Wild Before Our Eyes coming out on October 19th, and you can watch a trailer for that here.
For those of you that are Beach House fans, you’ll probably find Milktooth milling about the crowd at Marathon Music Works on Saturday September 15th. You will also probably find me milling about that same crowd. Get out and see some live music!
