There’s no better way to kick off the beginning of spring than with the news that Johnnyswim and Penny and Sparrow are performing a special concert as part of 12 South’s Sevier Park Festival on May 1st. Tickets for this show are $25, and go on sale this Friday at 10am here.
The traditional free portion of the festival, which is in its 3rd year, continues on Saturday, May 2. Saturday’s lineup includes Vinyl Thief, Zeke Duhon, Kelsey Waldon, Waterfall Wash, Youngest Daughter, Carmen Brandy, Nick Dittmier, and Kimberly Wolff, with more acts to be announced later. In addition to the performances by some of our favorite local acts, there will also be a hot wing eating contest, a bike race, and a cocktail lounge sponsored by El Jimador.
